Jorge Hermida has been working in steel fabrication for over 30 years. He started fabrication as a teenager working with his father, Manuel Hermida, in the family business started by his great-great-grandfather. He later worked as a foreman over 25 employees on many structural jobs ranging from 100 to 1000 tons per job, usually overseeing multiple jobs at one time. In 2004, Jorge founded JHDS, his detailing services company for miscellaneous metals.

​Jorge Hermida, Jr. is following in his father’s footsteps and has been working with the company for ten years. He brings youthful energy and a passion for learning the ins and outs of the business to JHDS. “Junior” works with Jorge Sr. on all aspects of estimating and the execution of on-going projects. Through his commitment to high quality standards and a dedication to professionalism, Jorge and JHDS have continued to exceed industry standards by forming strong professional partnerships based on integrity and reliability.

Andres Hermida, the other son of Jorge Sr., works closely by his father's side along with Jorge Jr. Andres assists in the coordination of projects while also overseeing the estimating department at JHDS. He has over eight years of experience with the company and has completed his Bachelor's Degree at William Paterson University.
